Ralph Tabberer
Chairman, Middle East
Sir Ralph Tabberer brings decades of international education leadership to GSM’s work in the Middle East. As Director General of Schools in England from 2006 to 2009, he was responsible for the performance of more than 23,000 UK schools. A former teacher and policymaker, he later played a key role in expanding GEMS Education across the Middle East and has served as an advisor to governments in the UAE, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia.
Shaun Robison
Chief Executive Officer, Global School Management - Middle East
Dr. Shaun Robison is one of the region’s most experienced education leaders, with a strong track record across both public and private sectors. He has advised the Abu Dhabi Department of Knowledge, the UAE Ministry of Education, and other key entities, delivering academic and commercial results at scale. His leadership combines deep policy insight with hands-on school operations expertise.
Silvia Contri
Chief Operating Officer, Global School Management - Middle East
Silvia Contri brings operational depth and regional expertise to her role as COO. She has led the planning and launch of seven nurseries in the UAE and has extensive experience in recruitment, procurement, and client relations. Silvia holds a Master’s degree in foreign languages and is known for executing complex projects with precision and cultural fluency.
