Strengthening GSM’s Portfolio in the Arabian Gulf
In line with the Qatar National Vision 2030 to boost the nation’s human capital, Global School Management recently announced a partnership with Aplomado Investments and Fenton Whelan Real Estate to introduce a super-premium international school on Qetaifan Island North, Doha.
The school is scheduled to open in September 2026 and will offer both UK and IB pathways, serving up to 1,600 students. The project reflects a growing demand for quality education options in Qatar and will expand access for families across the emirate.
Located on a 30,245 sqm plot near Lusail City, the school will set a new standard for world-class education in Doha. Facilities will include a 700-seat auditorium with a Performing Arts Hub, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, and direct canal access for watersports. It will also feature food technology and hospitality programs, as well as LEED-certified infrastructure focused on sustainability.
Professor Ralph Tabberer, former Director-General of Schools for the UK and current Chairman of GSM Middle East, will chair the new institution to ensure educational excellence and global alignment.
This new school marks part of GSM’s broader $200M investment in the Middle East education sector, first announced in 2022.
